At one time, if you wanted to go to the cinema, Worksop did not have much to offer.
Situated on Carlton Road, The Worksop Regal is an iconic Worksop building. It was originally built in the 1920s as the Miners Welfare Dance Hall and over the years has served as cinema and theatre providing education, entertainment and a place to go for generations of local people.
The Worksop Regal had a small screen in it's cinema. Worksop has been waiting for something better. Now there is the Savoy Worksop. Cinema goers can now enjoy six screens of blockbuster releases on their doorstep.
